The University of the Philippines College Cebu Entrepreneurship Class is holding an Entrepreneurship Seminar at the UPVCC AVR on March 10, 2007 at 1:00-5:00 in the afternoon.
The class is an elective course meant to encourage enterprise development under the two year University of the Phiippines Master of Management Program. It is a class meant to teach the entrepreneurial mindset, as well as incorporate the various business subjects into creating and managing business. It studies various entrepreneurial options like buying an existing business, going into franchising, as well as creating business plans and feasibility studies to This year, the subject is handled by Wilson Ng, a Cebu entrepreneur who himself has founded and created various businesses.
As part of its various activities, the students, which comes from various corporations around Cebu is inviting well known entrepreneurs in Cebu who have made their mark in the business community. Confirmed speakers include Mr. Jay Aldeguer of Island Souvenirs; Mr. Tom Aliquijo of Julie’s Bakeshop; Mr. Glenn Soco of Coffee Dream and Mr. Charlie Liu of Matimco Inc. They will impart their knowledge of how to start and run a business, franchising, venturing financing and much more.
This seminar will enable participants to broaden and change their perspective about entrepreneurship and further cultivate the Cebuano entrepreneurial spirit.
